Thermoforming is used in the production of durable end-use parts such as food packaging, industrial packaging, material handling equipment, separators, automotive interior and exterior trim parts, and medical equipment. Common raw materials used in thermoforming include ABS, polystyrene, polycarbonate, and PETG. The choice of material depends on the specific production project and the technical specifications required for the parts.
For shaping the sheets obtained from the extrusion process, these sheets must first be heated (or melted) in the thermoforming process and then masked using suitable thermoforming molds. Additionally, depending on the technical specifications of the material and parts, we can perform a pre-drying process using our industrial oven with air circulation, suitable for sizes ranging from 2500 to 5000 mm, to remove moisture from the sheets if needed.
